Nevan’s
Fund to stage community walk on May 31, 2009
In Millis, the Clyde Brown
School community was recently stunned to learn a three-year-old preschooler
named Nevan Mahesh was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
A group of fellow parents and Nevan’s teachers, determined to do all they
can to help Nevan and his family, have organized a “Walk for Nevan’s Fund”
to raise money for his treatment at Children’s Hospital in Boston and the
family’s expenses.

Masti Mein - ISW also celebrated Spring Garba on Saturday
April 4th with live music from Jhankaar. It was a beautiful,
colorful and musical night at the India Center. Everybody danced to the live
music played by our Musicians Mr.Vithal bhai, Radhi Navani and our volunteer

- ISW is reviving old Sandesh newsletter in electronic form – eSandesh. The
newsletter, to be published twice a month and emailed to those who have
currently signed up for the email newsletter, will have several new

India Society of Worcester in concert with Asian American Commission of
Massachusetts on 4th December organized a
Candlelight vigil for
Mumbai Victims at the Worcester City
Hall concurrently with the vigils at Boston City Hall Plaza and
at the State House in Providence RI.
