ISW Professional and Entrepreneurial Network is a forum based in MetroWest Boston for likeminded professionals and entrepreneurs to network, exchange ideas and learn from other's experience. The ISW India Center, at 152 Main St Shrewsbury, serves as a hub for a variety of activities and programs that encourage professional growth and entrepreneurial activities. Some of the activities include:

Calling All Chess Enthusiasts!

We’re excited to announce a new Chess Club at ISW for adults enjoy face-to-face matches. Will meet monthly on Saturdays from 4 PM to 6 PM, starting January 31, 2026
Like most ISW activities, our goal is simple: build a vibrant chess community and create opportunities for experienced players to share their skills with the younger generation.
Currently, we run chess classes for kids as young as 5, and this club will give provide real games in action.
We’ll keep it casual and play for fun. Later, we will organize tournaments and recognize outstanding players. If you’re interested register.

ISWU: Writing Workshop open to adults and High School kids (May 9, new dates) (9 May 2026)

Saturdays, 10 AM - 1130 AM EST; 4-week workshop begins May 9 (small classroom0 Since May 23 is a long weekend , we will have class on June 6, unless the class and tutor decides otherwise and have it on May 23.

This in-person workshop invites participants to revisit writing as a fun and critical thinking exercise together. Together we write, learn smart editing skills, and structuring better paragraphs and sentences.

We share comprehensive feedback (oral and written) from both the instructor and the group. Together, we will write, revise, and explore short nonfiction, or hybrid forms; practice and interrogate the craft of narrative; and read some great articles.

Workshop participants will serve as thoughtful advocates for one another’s work, offering engaged, constructive responses and concrete suggestions for revision.

This workshop is ideal for writers, those who want to go back to writing, or want to start a new writing journey — professional or personal. This workshop will be held in-person.

In person classes at India Center, ISW Membership can be completed/renewed here.

Facilitator:

Chaitanya Deshpande is a communications designer, creative, and copywriter with 15 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Branding, and Creative Design. He has rich communications and editorial experience and has previously worked with publications such as Amar Chitra Katha, Meet the City, and other outlets. His diverse body of work also includes two National Award-winning films by School Cinema and several Science Communication projects including a collaboration with Kings College, London

ISW is super excited to announce our annual India Day celebration at DCU center.

Vendor registrations are hereby open and will be honored on a first come first serve basis, without exceptions.

Registration fee is non-refundable, so in case of any questions, please reach out to ID26@iswonline.org before making a payment.

Please book your space now to avoid missing out. More details on the setup will be forthcoming as we get closer to the event.
● Approx. 10’X 8’ space with a table, 2 chairs
● Limited number available. First come first served.

VENDOR BOOTHS

● Single - $250 (After July 17 price: $350)
● Double - $400 (After July 17 price: $500)
● Additional $50 charge for electrical connection. Please use this option on the payment page If you are need this option.
● All vendor registrations are non-refundable.

Single booths will have one 8'x2' table.
Double booths will have two tables, one 8' and one 6' tables in a L-setup (subject to change).

Tables will have table covers. You are welcome to bring and use your own table cover(s).

Vendors are not permitted to add their own tables.

Non Profit booths are not permitted to sell any items to raise funds for their own organizations at ISW events. Only samples can be displayed at the non profit booths. We raise funds at such events for ISW programs and expenses.

Non-profit registrations are extremely popular and in order to give all interested non-profits a fair opportunity, only one registration per non-profit organization and its affiliates will be accepted. Any duplicate or redundant registrations will be canceled at ISW's discretion.

No refunds are made for booth fees, once paid. Credit can be applied for future ISW event venues, based on the committee discretion.

Food vendors, please DO NOT use this link and reach out to id26@iswonline.org for inquiry and information request. No food/drinks will be allowed to be sold at any vendor tables. No exceptions.

1. Vendors are suggested to have a State of Massachusetts Business License. (Optional)
2. Multiple vendors/businesses will not be permitted to share the same booth/space.
2. Food vendors, a temporary food establishment permit is required by Massachusetts Health & Social Services
3. Food vendors using hot oil or grease MUST have a 10 lb. ABC fire extinguisher at the food vendor site – per City of Worcester Fire Marshal.
4. Non-profit registrations are extremely popular and in order to give all interested non-profits a fair opportunity, only one registration per non-profit organization and its affiliates will be accepted. Any duplicate or redundant registrations will be canceled at ISW's discretion.

The ISW India Day Committee Reserves the Right to:
1. Reassign/change a space if necessary, even on show date. Spaces are not transferable by vendors.
2. Deny a space without a refund to any vendor in violation of any rule.
3. Prohibit display of certain products/distribution of materials based on its acceptability to the general public.
4. Eject vendors/visitors from the festival grounds where there is cause.
5. ISW is not responsible for theft or damage of vendor’s display or property. Vendors are responsible for their own space, and agree to reimburse ISW for any damage caused by unloading, loading and operations during the festival.
6. ISW is not liable for any damage to your equipment, merchandise, yourself or your family, friends or employees working at your booth.
7. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on festival grounds.
