    ISW school hosted a Talent show where a lot of students participated. It was great to see so many hidden gems. Amazing performances were showcased by the kids during the Talent Show… Dancing, Singing, Drawing, Instruments and impromptu presentation.

    The donation made by ISW School to help families in Turkey and Syria impacted by the catastrophic earthquake was dropped off at the home of a Northboro Junior Woman's Club member. The community's generous donations were loaded up to four vans and a UHaul truck and delivered to the Turkish Consulate and Syria’s collection centers by NuDay.

    ISW school celebrated this year's Republic Day with Assembly presentation, learning about the Indian flag ,constitution, how it’s celebrated in India and more. We also had a veteran share their experience of Republic day parade with us. We concluded with making Flag of India.

    As per tradition, the ISW Giving Tree has been set up in the School Lobby. We will be accepting donations of new hats /mittens and Walmart  gift cards (any number of gift cards accepted but each gift card in values of $10 only). The donation collected is for a shelter in need. We thank you all in advance for your support. 

    ISW school students had a fun time preparing decorations for Xmas.  Check out the new pictures in the link

    In preparation for Thanksgiving, the school Art teachers prepared a fun Turkey Headband and a classy Thanksgiving Card  The pictures in the link speak for themselves.  Bindiya, Ruchi, Divya, Mrunal, Sonia & Student teachers.

    The ISW school had a Halloween assembly on October 30th. The kids dressed up in a variety of costumes from lawyer to fairy, and paraded around the school. Some teachers also joined in the fun by dressing up also. Many of the parents came to joined the fun and take pictures of their kids as well. We also played a game, on the patio, which the kids enjoyed ending with a group of winners. Treats were handed out to the kids to finish off the amazing halloween assembly.     November 6, 2022 assembly had a mixture of storytelling and energetic bollyfit dance During 1st part of our assembly Our story teller Subhasini Subhashini Sivasankaran ji did an amazing job of involving kids to make it more interactive. It was followed by a fun workout and it was a bonus was to see adults participating with kids and  Sunita Ramnani, instructor from the Y and a violin teacher.     The ISW Cultural & Language School celebrated its Annual Day which marks the close of the academic year. On a bright and sunny morning, students and their parents attended as certificates were handed out by the teachers for successful completion of coursework in the various grades and languages. And we are excited that our graduating seniors, Kunal Chauhan, Adrika Singh and Jaya Singh come back as our new student teachers.  Thanks to Suchitra Agarwal, our veteran teacher who is allowed to take a break after many years as the teacher for our kindergarten newbies. Also thanks  to Mukul Agarwal who prepared a video recap of all our activities during our first in person classes in our beautiful India Center.

    Donation for Teacher Appreciation 2022

    Hi Parents, it is that time of year again, the academic year draws to an end.  Many of you wanted to show your appreciation for the great volunteer work done by the ISW  Language Teachers, Assembly Teachers and Staff.  Our school has been going strong for 30 years with the support  of our teachers, so thank you to them.  

    In 2020  $900 was donated on behalf of teachers to Greater Worcester Community Foundation GWCF for the 'First Responders Fund'.

    In 2021 The donation collected for 2021 went towards the ISW building expansion fund. Once again thanks to all the teachers and volunteers for their hard work and dedication.

    Rules for  Hindi USA Certificate exam.

    Register for  Hindi USA Exam

    1) The fees of $25 for the exam to be paid online via registration link by May 6, 2022.This fee will go to Hindi USA directly.

    2) We need kids' full names in Hindi and English, so please Whatsapp their names to Ruchi

    3)We don't check the test papers before mailing them back, we just proctor it.

    For siblings, please register twice. Last year we had 5 students register for the exams, very proud of them.

    Date of the proctored exam will be  in June 2022. Will let you know soon.

    *U for Ukraine *

    We are happy to report that Hindi 4 students have conclud5ed their " U for Ukraine fundraiser" on a great note raising $600 in total that will go to World Central Kitchen that is feeding people in Ukraine. Winners of the 3D Printed objects were: Bhavya Kamakolanu, Saket Gahlot, Sohan Hegde and Paarth Kapoor. In addition, Srikant Muddana (Telugu Class) won the 50% off 2022 school fees raffle. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all the teachers, parents and volunteers for supporting the cause. Thanks to Kunal Chauhan for printing the 3D prizes.

    We (from the school) are organizing a fundraiser to support people of Ukraine in this crisis. We need everyone’s help and participation to make it a successful event . Our graduating students(Jaya,Adrika and Kunal) have come up with the following ideas and activities .

    1. Pajama day and dance party- $2 entry ticket ( will provide packed popcorn at the end)-April 3rd - 11-11:30 am

    2. Doing raffle for customized 3D printed gift (limitations apply)-$2- starts on April 3rd

    3. 50% off the school fees for next year for one student, raffle-entry fees-$20 

    4. Bake sale (no nuts)- April 10th

    5. Donors please  write 'Ukraine Fundraiser" in comment box. Please use this link to make donations.

    The donations will go to World Central Kitchen, four star rated charity on GuideStar.org
